Freshman’s Composition Featured at Music Conference

Freshman Jack RocheFreshman Jack Roche’s electronic music composition, “Glitched,” was featured at the New York State School Music Association Winter Conference in Rochester, New York. The NYSSMA Electronic Music Composition Showcase is an annual program that features original electronic music compositions submitted by New York students of all ages. An adjudication panel evaluates the submissions and selects the most remarkable compositions for performance at the showcase event.

Jack created “Glitched” using Ableton Live software and composed all individual tracks in Thomas Pedane’s Music and Video Production class at North Salem Middle/High School. He has been composing for four years and is inspired by his dad, who also composes music. Congratulations to Jack for this outstanding achievement!
