College Visits: Please feel free to come to meet the college representatives for schools you're interested in learning more about! So far, we have close to 70 colleges scheduled to visit this fall starting on September 13th. In many cases, the college representative will also be the person that will be reviewing our students' applications. To register for a session, please go to Naviance Student (formerly known as Family Connection) under College Visits. If the visit is taking place during a time that you have a class, please stop by the Counseling Office and we will give you a pass. If there's a school you'd like to have come that's currently not listed, please let the Counseling Office know and we'll try to schedule a visit.
Seniors:
This is a very exciting and sometimes stressful time for seniors as they decide where they will go and what they will do after graduation. Mr. Davis and Mrs. Loughran will be available for all seniors throughout the year as they navigate these waters. We will be going into all OPTIONS classes in September to review the college application process to be sure that all students are familiar with the procedures. Please visit the Counseling Office web page to access these documents: http://northsalemschools.org/
Any senior wishing to take/re-take the SAT or ACT exam, please sign up through www.collegeboard.com or www.actstudent.org. Please note: the November SAT date will conflict with athletic sectionals.
All students Grades 6-12 are working on their SMART goals for the year as well as discussing Naviance. Naviance is the computer program used by many schools to track goals, do career exploration and manage the college process.
Modified Teams: Modified Team End of Season Celebrations -- Updated
The Modified athletic team end of season celebration will take place on Wednesday, November 7th, 7:00pm, in the high school cafeteria.
