• French IV/SUNY UHS I 

    This course integrates listening, speaking, reading, writing, and culture to develop increased proficiency in all skills, to promote cultural awareness, and to enhance the ability to discuss important topics. Materials provide cultural perspectives that encourage critical thinking on topics including changes in French culture and the Francophone world (France, Canada, Belgium, The French West Indies, and French-speaking Africa). Contemporary magazine and newspapers, songs, poems, French films, telecommunications via the internet and other activities are utilized to prompt the creative use of vocabulary and cultural knowledge.
