Advanced Placement Biology
Recommended Prerequisite: Successful completion of Biology and Chemistry
This course is the equivalent of a college biology course at the introductory level. Topics covered include those of the Regents course, but in greater depth and with greater emphasis on biochemistry, energy dynamics, genetics, animal behavior and statistics. In May, students must take the Advanced Placement Biology Exam sponsored by the College Board. Registration fees must be assumed by the student.
