AP Physics 1AP Physics 1 is an algebra-based, college level course equivalent to one semester of introductory algebra based physics. Students cultivate their understanding of Physics through inquiry-based and technology rich investigations as they explore these topics: kinematics; dynamics; circular motion and gravitation; energy; momentum; simple harmonic motion; torque and rotational motion. 1 Credit. Successful completion of algebra. All students are expected to take the AP exam in May. The AP exam fee must be assumed by the student. Please refer to the AP Exam Fee Schedule for more information.
